Peter McFarland brings over 28 years of experience to Meridian Wealth Management. He started with American Express Financial Advisors in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After relocating to Kentucky, Peter worked in the Lexington Central Investment Center from 1998 to 2011. During this time, he was named a Top 50 Advisor in the country by Bank Investment Consultant Magazine from 2007-2011. After moving to UBS Wealth Management in 2012, he grew his business over 300 percent. He was named Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors in 2020-2022.

Peter and his team provide a full range of financial planning services— specializing in: retirement income, investment management, and tax planning.

Outside of the office, Peter enjoys everything horse racing. When he is not at the races or spending time with his two sons, Joey and Brady and his wife, Theresa— he volunteers his time coaching baseball. He is currently coaching a 17U travel team. In 2014, he took a team to the Cal Ripken World Series. Peter’s dream is to win the Kentucky Derby someday.
