Karen McIntyre joined the Meridian team in 2021. She is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) and has more than 15 years of experience in investment management and financial planning with high‐net‐worth clients and the emerging affluent.  Additionally, Karen works closely with institutional investors, including foundation and endowment accounts and retirement plans.   

Originally, from Ohio, Karen studied at Bowling Green State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University.  She is a graduate of the 2020 Leadership Lexington class and an active volunteer in the community.  These pursuits include acting as Treasurer for the Kentucky Craft History and Education Association and fundraising for the Bluegrass Chapter of the American Red Cross. 

In her free time, Karen loves reading and practicing yoga and enjoys travel with her husband, Dan, and long walks with Black Labrador, Abby.
